SEO · AEO · Website health

Good work deserves to be found.

We help businesses make their websites clearer, healthier and easier for search engines and AI systems to understand. Start with a free crawl and a prioritized plan.

Friendly to people and machines

Your website should work as hard as you do.

A beautiful website can still be difficult to crawl, confusing to navigate or vague about what the business actually offers. That makes it harder for customers, search engines and AI systems to connect the right question with the right page.

We look at the foundation first: broken links, redirects, orphan pages, oversized images, missing metadata, unclear page structure, weak internal links and information that machines cannot easily interpret.

Then we turn the findings into a realistic plan instead of handing over a wall of technical warnings.

The plain-language version

SEO and AEO share the same healthy foundation.

01

Search engine optimization

SEO helps search engines access, understand and evaluate your pages so they can appear for relevant searches. Technical health, useful content, internal links, authority and a clear site structure all contribute.

02

Answer engine optimization

AEO helps answer engines and AI systems understand what your business does, who it serves and which questions each page answers. Clear language, direct answers and structured data all help.

03

The shared goal

Make every important page easy to find, easy to understand and worth recommending. Neither SEO nor AEO is a one-time trick. They are ongoing work built on a healthy foundation.

Start with the evidence

A free crawl. A clear score. A practical next move.

Send us your website URL and we will run a technical crawl. The crawl gives us a starting point, not a sales scare tactic. If you want help putting the plan into action, we can work through the approved technical improvements, page structure and content with you.

What we can improve

A healthier site, built one useful fix at a time.

01

Technical cleanup

Broken links, redirects, duplicate paths, orphan pages, oversized files, indexing barriers and other issues that weaken the foundation.

02

Page structure and links

Clear service hubs, supporting pages and useful internal links that help people and crawlers understand how the information fits together.

03

SEO and AEO content

Service pages, location pages, frequently asked questions and proof-driven content built around the questions real customers ask.

04

Machine readability

Schema and consistent business information that give search engines and AI systems clearer context about services, locations, articles, videos and frequently asked questions.

05

Search presentation

Page titles, descriptions, Open Graph information and image text that help each page communicate clearly when it appears in search or is shared.

06

Measurement and refinement

Follow-up crawls, issue monitoring and content improvements based on what the site needs next. Technical health is the foundation. Visibility is the longer-term work.

We put our own site to the test

From 88 and 66 errors to 100 and 0 errors.

An earlier Ahrefs crawl of EmberlightMedia.com reported a Health Score of 88 and 66 errors. We worked through the site structure, redirects, internal links, orphan pages, image problems, metadata and machine-readable information.

Our October 29, 2026 crawl reports:

100Health
100Machine readability
100AI discoverability
100Bot access
0Errors

Ahrefs places Health Scores from 91 to 100 in its Excellent tier. We are proud of the technical foundation, but we also keep the score in perspective.

What the scores do not promise: A 100 does not guarantee a first-place ranking, more traffic, more inquiries or a citation in an AI answer. It tells us the site is accessible, readable and technically ready for the content and authority work that drives visibility over time.

What the scores mean

Technical readiness without the smoke and mirrors.

Health Score

The share of crawled internal URLs without Ahrefs errors. A high score means the crawl found fewer technical problems, not that every search goal has been achieved.

Machine Readability

How clearly automated systems can access and interpret important information on the site, including structure, metadata and structured data.

AI Discoverability

A readiness measure that helps identify whether AI crawlers can reach and understand the site. It is not a measurement of how often the brand is already mentioned in AI answers.

Bot Access

Whether relevant crawlers are allowed to access the site. Access is necessary, but it still takes useful content and authority to earn visibility.

The Emberlight process

Find it. Prioritize it. Fix it. Recheck it.

01

Crawl

We inspect the site and document the current technical condition.

02

Prioritize

We separate critical errors from worthwhile improvements and lower-impact cleanup.

03

Repair

We work through the approved technical, structural and content changes without burying you in jargon.

04

Recheck

We crawl again, verify the changes and use the new evidence to decide what deserves attention next.

05

Expand

Once the foundation is healthy, we build service, location and proof pages around the searches and questions that matter.

SEO and AEO FAQ

The practical questions, answered.

What is a website SEO audit?

A website SEO audit reviews technical health, page structure, internal links, metadata, content and crawl access to identify what may be limiting search visibility. A useful audit prioritizes the findings instead of treating every warning as equally urgent.

What is AEO?

AEO stands for answer engine optimization. It helps AI systems and answer engines understand a business through clear information, useful answers, structured data and consistent details across the site.

What does machine readability mean?

Machine readability means automated systems can access, interpret and connect the information on a website. Clear headings, descriptive links, metadata, structured data and consistent business information all help.

Does a 100 Health Score guarantee higher rankings?

No. A perfect technical score is a strong foundation, not a ranking guarantee. Rankings also depend on relevance, content quality, authority, competition, location and search intent.

Can you guarantee first place in Google or AI answers?

No reputable provider can guarantee a specific organic ranking or AI citation. We can improve the site’s technical foundation, clarity and usefulness, then measure progress honestly.

Do you only work with Colorado businesses?

No. Emberlight Media is based in Colorado and can audit and improve websites for businesses nationwide.

What happens after the free crawl?

You receive a plain-language summary and prioritized game plan. You can use it with your own team, or ask us to help implement the approved changes and build the next round of content.

How long does website optimization take?

The timeline depends on the size of the site and the issues discovered. Some technical repairs are quick. Content, authority and meaningful search growth are longer-term work.
